I have one of my favorite cousins in the hospital with a brain tumor. Surgery next Friday two surgeons will take 8 to 9 hours. Robin, Bryan's wife in surgery today having gallbladder removed. Then surgery on my knee in the morning. Please put them on your prayer list. I was feeling very lost when Nancy became ill, but God sit me down in a hurry and we had a long talk and I feel so much better. There is still some fear there but I know he will handle it for me. So I know about the words you have written. You do have a gift to express things in a way most of us can only hope for, so that is a beautiful Blessing he has given you. Thanks, I believe I need that this morning.Pat Cochranenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2497430725885292880.post-11847891328937202482012-08-23T10:28:01.398-04:002012-08-23T10:28:01.398-04:00For as long as I've been a Christian there has...For as long as I've been a Christian there has been one experiential constant that has never changed - grace is always surprising. Grace is nothing like I can imagine it to be or look like or expect. I mean never. Not once. Nada. If I were to take God's grace in my life and attempt to "measure it" (by whatever measure I choose - and that doesn't matter either)the measurement outcome would prove false. There is simply nothing in life or in the world by which to measure what God does by His grace inside us through the Holy Spirit. Go ahead. Pick your plumbline, but from what?? What is there to compare?

Interesting isn't it, that we have a faith that is actually living and living has direction and direction an object. It's all linear and ends when we actually, factually, see Him face to face.MacoManhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06615618788938961568noreply@blogger.com
