I am checking out an option, based on one reader's request, to be able to send email notifications to a limited number of readers when a new post is made.
It seems that Blogger will allow one automated email to go out for each new post, and up to 10 recipients can be on that email list.
If this interests you, please let me know by either:
sending me the email address you want the notification to go to at this email (remove brackets and replace the letters for at with the @ sign and the letters for dot with a period): rjc[and]wkc[at]gmail[dot]com.
OR leave your email address in the comments section here.
The first 10 people to respond to this can be added to the list. I'm not sure why Blogger limits it to 10, but it seems that is the restriction.

There are still up to 6 slots left.
you know you can add a thing to your side bar (called follow by e-mail) and people can sign up--its unlimited, and it sends them an e-mail every time you post.
